  1. Late fee automation

    Create a mechanism to generate late fees, automatically added to the accounting system. Following requirements: Do not alter existing invoices to avoid altering past financial periods - Likely generate a new "late fee" invoice Configurable rules to include / exclude clients, ignore certain invoices etc. Percentage based, with different percentages for different time periods Continue to generate late fee invoices until original invoice is paid

  2. Automatically email customers for updated card when old one expires or is declined permanently

    Right now it is a manual process to chase customers down when their automatic recurring payment method expires or is declined permanently. This should be a relatively simple process to automate - customers can be notified via email that their payment method needs to be updated.

  6. Show end-customer last login time

    We would like to be able to see the last login time for our end-customers. Ideally it should be showing per login we enable for an end customer. This would allow us to verify if a client has been successful in logging in, when the last time they logged in etc. The best place for it is either on the customer landing page as a - format after the portal enabled login or in the settings screen for the customer where you enable portal logins. The timestamp for login should be localized to the user on our side that is logging in.

    have a variable for the customer name and not just company name. It looks better when you say Hi Mary instead of Hi ABC Inc..

  8. Sync payment status to HaloPSA

    Whenever the payment status of an invoice changes in Benjipays, it should sync to HaloPSA. Currently payment status only sync's with quickbooks. We're using quickbooks desktop and the payment status doesn't sync to halo.

  9. For Moneris, when processing a payment do not perform a verification transaction prior to the purchase transaction when possible

    When processing a payment with a Moneris Gateway, Benji Pays currently performs a card verification prior to processing the payment. If possible, we would like to change it as follows: If saving the card for the future - perform the card verification as this is required to ensure the CVD and expiry date are verified before saving the card to the Moneris Vault.If not saving the card, instead of performing a card verification transaction, send the expiry and CVD info with the vaulted purchase transaction. The reason is that some issues do not accept verification transactions. Also provide merchants the ability to bypass the verification when adding cards and processing payments within the merchant portal.

  10. Display whether customer has opened the invoice sent from Benji Pays

    This is a feature on QBO that is really nice, where we can see if the customer has opened, and viewed the invoice.

  11. Vanity / custom URL for Customer Portal

    Allow a vanity / custom URL (eg. pay.example.com) to be used for the customer portal. This requires updates to authentication and other security controls in the customer portal application to ensure security is maintained and avoid the potential for phishing etc.

  12. Customer portal (Impersonate as user)

    I would like to be able to open the customer portal as a client (impersonate) however, limited to view only. This would be helpful in walking our clients through how to navigate the system. see what they see and be aware of any changes visually or functionally that need to be made.

  13. Option to send Declined or Transaction Failed emails to clients

    Currently customers do not get a notification when an auto-pay transaction is declined. We should have the ability to have the system send a "Transaction Failed" email to the customer.

  14. Different auto-pay payment profiles for different invoice types within an account

    For example, monthly recurring service fees are auto processed through ACH and other invoices for hardware purchases are auto processed to a credit card or a different ACH account. Could be based on Xero branding themes / QuickBooks Payment Terms, memo or reference field.

  15. Allow customers to connect their bank accounts by authenticating with their online banking

    User a service like Plaid.com or Flinks.com to allow users to connect their banking details by loging into their online banking in addition to allowing them to enter their banking information manually. This can improve Approval rates and reduce the risk of account infomation being entered incorrectly. There may be a nominal cost to this.
