    Currently we send a notification to the merchant, however, for our cloud accounting systems we could have this auto update the accounting system with the new information.

  4. Add credit memo functionality to customer portal - QuickBooks Desktop

    My customers cannot see their open credit memos from their customer portal. Which means that they cannot apply their available credit to their open invoices before payment. It would be a major upgrade if my customers could view and apply available credit memos to their invoices as they see fit.

  5. Benji Payments - Create better transaction level reporting around settlement status

    In my prior ACH processor, we had significantly more insight into the status of each transaction as it proceeded through from initial transaction, to in process, to settled - including estimates for settlement timing that could be reported on as soon as the transaction was made. This allowed me to forecast the deposits for the coming days based on upcoming settlement dates. Additionally, transaction level detail included this more detailed information as well like invoice number and settlement date. All of this allows for better tracking of ACH transactions across the four-day window from initial processing to final settlement. There is also a status column on the report that indicates which transactions are still in process "Open" and which ones are settled "Complete" with links to the settlement info on the completed ones.

  6. Automatically email customers for updated card when old one expires or is declined permanently

    Right now it is a manual process to chase customers down when their automatic recurring payment method expires or is declined permanently. This should be a relatively simple process to automate - customers can be notified via email that their payment method needs to be updated.

  7. Option to send Declined or Transaction Failed emails to clients

    Currently customers do not get a notification when an auto-pay transaction is declined. We should have the ability to have the system send a "Transaction Failed" email to the customer.

  8. Allow customers to connect their bank accounts by authenticating with their online banking

    User a service like Plaid.com or Flinks.com to allow users to connect their banking details by loging into their online banking in addition to allowing them to enter their banking information manually. This can improve Approval rates and reduce the risk of account infomation being entered incorrectly. There may be a nominal cost to this.

    Although user can enable MFA, there is no option for a company Admin to enforce MFA on all users, this should be added.

  11. Payment Transaction History

    I would like to see payment transaction history imported in from QuickBooks Online, this will allow end users to see payment details on transactions processed outside BenjiPays such as cheque payments.

  15. Full Statement of Account including Payments

    I don't see a way to send a customer a statement for the last X days showing all transactions. This would include unpaid invoices, paid invoices, and specific payments received. It's the type of thing a customer requests when they need to reconcile their accounting system to ours. Of course it would be nice if Invoice Rover could send this type of report monthly as well based on whether an account has had activity in X days or has an open balance.
