  1. Automatically email customers for updated card when old one expires or is declined permanently

    Right now it is a manual process to chase customers down when their automatic recurring payment method expires or is declined permanently. This should be a relatively simple process to automate - customers can be notified via email that their payment method needs to be updated.

  2. Option to send Declined or Transaction Failed emails to clients

    Currently customers do not get a notification when an auto-pay transaction is declined. We should have the ability to have the system send a "Transaction Failed" email to the customer.

  3. Allow customers to connect their bank accounts by authenticating with their online banking

    User a service like Plaid.com or Flinks.com to allow users to connect their banking details by loging into their online banking in addition to allowing them to enter their banking information manually. This can improve Approval rates and reduce the risk of account infomation being entered incorrectly. There may be a nominal cost to this.

    Although user can enable MFA, there is no option for a company Admin to enforce MFA on all users, this should be added.

    would be nice if there was a global setting to automatically send this template when a new user is added with portal access

  7. Full Statement of Account including Payments

    I don't see a way to send a customer a statement for the last X days showing all transactions. This would include unpaid invoices, paid invoices, and specific payments received. It's the type of thing a customer requests when they need to reconcile their accounting system to ours. Of course it would be nice if Invoice Rover could send this type of report monthly as well based on whether an account has had activity in X days or has an open balance.

  9. More detail in Reminder Rules column under email logs

    In the Email logs, it lists the "reminder rule" that was triggered for the email. It should be referencing the "description" field of the rule, not the mechanic that is causing it to fire. For example, rules that send an email after X days, it shows that (such as Invoice Overdue 3 Day(s) @ 7:00AM). What it should show is the name we put in the rule (Overdue Invoice Reminder - Notice of Suspension)

  10. Customer portal (Impersonate as user)

    I would like to be able to open the customer portal as a client (impersonate) however, limited to view only. This would be helpful in walking our clients through how to navigate the system. see what they see and be aware of any changes visually or functionally that need to be made.

  11. Update address in accounting system when customer updates their address on customer portal

    Currently we send a notification to the merchant, however, for our cloud accounting systems we could have this auto update the accounting system with the new information.

  13. Add option to send reminder every X days

    it would be nice instead of only having the option to type in days overdue to just put "send every xx days"

  14. Ability for customer to make a payment in the Customer Portal that is not linked to an invoice - e.g. a deposit or prepayment

    Allow a customer to visit the customer portal and make a payment for a quote which doesn't have an invoice created yet using a saved payment method

  15. Label autopay switch better in customer management area of portal

    The switch that shows if a payment method is enabled for autoprocessing or not is not labeled. If you hover over it, it says "Enable Profile". This is not a sufficient description to communicate what the switch does.
